I used Osuji&Smith law for sales of my property. Ibrahim oversaw the legal part of selling my house. Everything went seamlessly from the start to the end. He explained everything to me and that helped answer all of my questions before I had an opportunity to ask them (and I mean that). He is very quick to reply messages and readily available to take your calls. Takes his work very seriously. I will recommend using Osuji and Smith law. The fees were also reasonable.

A couple of years ago, not being happy with how our lawyer in a labor case was treating us, we contacted Charles for a consultation. He was very professional & heard what we had to say. While he advised us the case was too far along to change lawyers, he helped us to understand what was going on. He also gave us enough of a ballpark range on the possible settlement that we ended up settling for a significant amount more than our actual lawyer wanted us to settle for. I highly recommend using this firm for all your legal needs. I retained them to sue my former employer after I was unlawfully terminated after 9 years of dedicated service. It was an extremely traumatic experience for me. My former employer and their defense team were extremely difficult to deal with, they fought against the lawsuit HARD. But in the end they were no match for the team at Osuji and Smith. I got the settlement I deserved, and more importantly to me , I received Justice. I reached out to Charles Osuji after carefully reading his reviews here and having other lawyers tell me to not bother and just search for another job. After the first meeting, I decided to hire Osuji and Smith go represent me in a case of constructive dismissal. My former employer made what you would describe as a lengthy, complicated process, which led to a wrongful dismissal case and a counter claim. Charles and his team were very supportive throughout this anxious process. To have someone attack your integrity is a hard mental toll. If I could give a higher rating I would. Words cannot begin to explain the gratitude for the countless hours Charles and his team put into my case against my former employer. He was very helpful when it came to guiding me through what ended up being a very lengthy process. He and the team were wonderful when it came to explaining everything I needed to know about the particulars of my case to help ease my anxious mind going up against someone who made the process difficult more often than not. Charles always made me feel like a person in the process and not just another case to him. He was always very honest and direct with how I should proceed. He has been so amazing I have referred several people to him. My own daughter being one of them he referred her to Amanda Ovaici to help navigate her through her divorce process. A couple of the people I referred to check Charles out sat and met with him and Charles was very upfront about whether or not what they were presenting was worth their time and money being spent on moving forward legally. If I had to describe Charles and his team in just a few words they would be compassionate, honest, hard working, and knowledgeable. Hopefully I don't find myself needing counsel in the future but if I do I know who I will be calling without any doubt. I am truly blessed to have found this wonderful firm.

I have worked with Lucy Mewanu-Mensah through what seemed like a very tedious legal process. Recently used Osuji and Smith for a Civil Issue. The firm is fast, efficient, covers all the legal bases. I would rate my lawyer, Ayendrila Sharma 10 out of 5 she is so thorough, easy to talk to and able to give objective advice. The intake ladies are fantastic, who do the first interview. They are personable and compassionate. And Charles is amazing, aside from being one the handsomest lawyers in Alberta he is brilliant!!

Working with Amanda was such a seamless, enjoyable, and professional process. The level at which she was focused on our case and handled it as though our case was so close to her heart is something you don’t often see in attorneys. She treated our case like she was fighting for her own family member and with the sensitivity of our case, that was refreshing. I’ll never forget receiving an email from her at 3 AM because she was restless and unable to sleep just wanting to make sure every part of our case was covered.
