Both Dr. Charles Osuji (Hon. D.), CEO of Osuji & Smith Lawyers, and Rowan Fisher, Founder & Managing Lawyer of Fisher Law, are immigrants themselves, with a deep understanding of the intricacies and challenges faced by newcomers to Calgary, Alberta, and Canada. Their personal experiences fuel their dedication to creating an ecosystem of support, fostering success for immigrants in Canada.
Prior to the acquisition, Fisher Law’s unique approach has been integral in providing essential immigration knowledge and support to various organizations in Calgary, such as the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association, The Immigrant Education Society, the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, and Immigrant Services Calgary.

It is a first of its kind in Canada, providing tomorrow’s legal scholars and lawyers with the opportunity to find their way into the Alberta legal community with hands-on Canadian experience in client consultation, supporting lawyers, networking across Alberta, and navigating the workplace.
“This acquisition isn’t just a business move; it’s a commitment to empower and uplift the immigrant community in Canada. By acquiring Fisher Law, Osuji & Smith will not only be expanding its services to Dubai, Yukon, Ontario, across Canada and beyond, but will also be reinforcing its dedication to trust, excellence, and support in the immigration sector. We understand the unique challenges faced by immigrants because we have lived those stories.
