I have no experience to face a lawyer to ask for help, if I do need a lawyer, the best lawyer is a must. I spent a few hours to search a good lawyer online, Charles Osuji attracts my eyes. We did a video meeting first, I thought a big lawyer would be on the high ropes, on the contrary, he is approachable, kind, with good manners, his eyes light up with wisdom, his consultation gets to the point sharply. the short meeting with him, and my heart located back to the right position. I was mistreated at work, in the last few weeks I worked there, they made my life impossible until they decided to fired me. I am not the first one and won't be the last one to be treated like that from that company. I was furious, sad, stressed, frustrated, angry, mad so I did a little online research and Charles Osuji came up as one of the top Employment Lawyers in Alberta. I can't remember if I called or emailed but they replied right away. I am not going to tell you how good or bad he was but I will tell you what he delivered. I couldn't really afford a lawyer and I've never had a legal fight before, but it really bothered me how my former employer treated me so I decided to pay the circa 0 consultation fee to find out: 1. if I had a case and 2. how much my case was worth. The consultation was brief and to the point, and they gave me the answer I was looking for. But what really made me move forward with his services was the format of not having to pay anything up front and not be charged by the hour, but instead he will take a cut of the settlement. Calista and Charles guided me through the whole process and kept me in the loop every step of the way. In a matter of 11 months we agreed in a settlement just before trial and I got the compensation just a little more of what he anticipated we were going to get. Do I recommend them? Hands down hell yes! He is indeed good and the best of it justice was made and I hope that company learned their lesson.

My brother and I have consulted many lawyers since our recent legal trouble. After today we can confidently say Osuji is the best lawyer thus far that we have met. Not only did Osuji push the meeting 40 minutes to accommodate Cody getting out of work late, but he also extended the meeting an extra 35 minutes to go through everything in detail instead of just rushing through it. Our meeting even extended past close!In the meeting there was a student lawyer as well as an assistant lawyer to Osuji. They made us feel like they were putting all of their resources into our case and for probably the best rate I have seen. Osuji also told us that we could do the lawsuit ourselves. I needed legal advice on short notice concerning an IP (Intellectual Property) issue. I was able to get an appointment with Mr Osuji for the next day but, due to a scheduling mixup, he was double booked for my time. The way it worked out was that he was an hour late for my appointment but he the apologized for the mixup and then spent 45 minutes with me making all of his remaining appointments late. That was the ethical thing to do even though it meant that his remaining meetings that day would all begin on a sour note and I was impressed with his decision. The meeting was very productive during which he revised key parts of the IP document to more clearly protect my interests. The resulting document was just what I needed in a subsequent business deal.

I hired charles for a prenuptial agreement. He is amazing from day 1. Unlike other corporate family lawyers, Charles calls you back even after 9 pm and even on a Saturday or Sunday. As a small business owner, my resources are very limited and when I needed legal counsel, Charles did his very best to work around that and help me as best he could. I would send him emails on the weekend expecting a reply during business hours the following week, and he would surprised me with prompt replies that weekend, even when he wasn't supposed to be working. Charles and I worked together within the months of March and April 2015. I went to him for an employment issue. I have to admit I was skeptical at first because he looked young.After deciding to hire him to represent me with my issue, I came to the quickest realization that he had that tenacious and calm composure that I needed for the situation at hand.
